大晦日は幼なじみを招いてクリスマスイブに続き浜松餃子の食べくらべ。
今回は水餃子からスタートし、お気に入りの「丸川」を含め３軒を食す。
yu spent new year's eve with best friend aiko and explored even deeper world of hamamatsu gyoza.
started with boiled dumpling, this time included yu's favourite "marukawa".

昨年はスリランカで見た紅白を今年は実家でまったり鑑賞。
小林幸子の壮大さに驚きながらも、ガガの映像に疑問。。。
シャネルバッグが凄く目立ってたけど、NHKってああいうのマズいのでは？
ガガさんだから特別ってのは通らないよね。
yu was watching annual end of the year music show "kohaku" on tv in sri lanka last year.
it was nice to watch at home relaxed...it is a part of japanese traditional nye thing!
surprised enough with sachiko kobayashi's outfit and special performance from lady gaga.
however chanel bag on piano was too obvious even looked like an advert...
nature of this "nhk" channel, it's like bbc, they cannot advertise anything...
yu is pretty sure it is against regulation.
lady gaga cannot be special case...

除夜の鐘がなり始めるとメインイベントの年越しそば。
でも今年はお手製の「年越しそば餃子」なり！
once started to hear nye bells, it was time for "toshikoshi" soba.
but this year yu cooked "toshikoshi" soba gyoza!!!

朝から皮作り。
中身はおそばと言う事で鶏と山菜にしてみました。
ま〜パーフェクトな出来ではなかったけど。。。オッケーでしょ。
yu started to cook dumpling wrap with soba powder from morning.
filling was chicken and wild mountain veges.
it was ok...

余った皮は細く（？）切っておそば風に。
yu cut left over wrap just like soba.

「ゆく年来る年」で坊さんが鐘をうちながらずっこけるのを見つつ謹賀新年！
早速、初詣に出発であります。
辿り着いたのは歩いて５分のローカル神社。
参拝後にはおみかんと甘酒を頂いちゃいました。
やっぱり、ローカルはいいね♥

it is small but they served sweet sake and satstuma!

映画館嫌いのマスイが何年ぶりかのムービー鑑賞。
ドラえもんのハリボテの前で「ハイ、チーズ」♥
ドラえもんがたポップコーンケースを入手し上機嫌なり。
でも、見たのはドラえもんじゃないよ。
三谷幸喜作品だったような。。。
first time in several years...hating film theatre yu masui was at local cinema.
yu was posing in front of "doraemo" but what you watched was koki mitani's comedy.
yu bought draemon head pop-corn basket!

今日は旧友たちとショッピングセンターの「和幸」で巨大ヒレカツ♥
yu is still eating meat!
today yu picked "jumbo hire katsu", deep fried pork, for dinner with old school friends at "wako" in shopping centre.

12月29日『胃に肉』の日に青山の「よろにく」に再襲来！
新年帰国中の駐妻ミホちゃんと昨年本帰国した洋子ちゃん、２人の肉仲間とともに。
yu was at "yoroniku" bbq restaurant again for 29th dec of meat day!
2 meat lovers, london housewife friend miho and ex london housewife yoko living in tokyo now, joined yu's monthly feast!!

今回は残念ながら個室をとれなかったので普通席で。。。
でも考えるのがめんどくさいのでコースにしました。
結局はスタッフの方が焼いてくれるのでらくちん♥
一通りコースのお肉を終え手を出したのは我々の大好物「チャトーブリアン」！
unfortunately, private dinings were fully booked.
however they ordered course meal as it's easier.
end of the day, staff prepared whole course so it was good.
after course meats yu picked their all time favourite "chateaubriand" from a la carte.

course was finished with special ice dessert as yu requested.

噂の『フォアグラバーガー』や『ポルチーニとトリュフのチキンバーガー』などのリュックスメニューを確かめようと、日本再上陸した「ウェンディーズ」にいってみました♥
でも、あまりの行列に断念。。。ファーストフードなはずなのに。。。
yu was going to eat at newly come back "wendy's" to check out "foie gras burger" and "chicken burger with portini and truffle"!
but queue was so long...yu had to give up...supposed to be first food...

yu ♥ "gyoza" xmas eve!!!

宇都宮と天下を二分する餃子合戦を繰り広げる、マスイユウのホームタウン『静岡県浜松市』。
yu's home town hamamatsu and utsunomiya are 2 major city and competitor for majority of "gyoza" dupmling share.

クリスマスイブ。。。世の中のカップルどもが愛を確かめ合っている一方で、実家を舞台に幼なじみのあいこと一緒に『浜松餃子』の品評会を開催。
昼間から母親を連れ出し買い出しのために餃子屋巡りをスタート、５時間かけて未開の餃子ゾーンに初挑戦だ。
xmas even...while couples are loving each other, yu was exploring more about "hamamatsu gyoza" with his childhood best friend aiko.
yu was all over the town to get gyoza dumpling with his mother for 5 hours.

「小白」はニンニクの利いた普通に美味しい餃子、そしてぷりぷりエビの海鮮餃子もなかなか。
☆
「かね蔵」はニンニクの量が４段階、普通の餃子の他に変わり種も豊富でございます。今回は浜松が高収穫高をほこるセロリにトライ。案外美味しい！

「栄福」はチャンキーなお肉の粒ミンチに紛れて入って肉好きにはたまらない後味！

「まんぷく」はモッチリ皮で具にしっかりお味がついていたが、まあまあってところだった。しそ餃子も。。。

結局４店から６種類、100以上の餃子を完食なり！

〆はミシュラン３つ星のヘストン・ブルメンタールと王室御用達スーパー「ウェイトローズ」のコラボ、クリスマスプディングでございます。
真ん中にはジュエリーのように輝くまるまるオレンジまるまる一個のコンポート！
dessert was heston blumenthal xmas pudding from waitrose.
forbidden orange comport was just like jewelry!

こうしてニンニク臭い聖夜が終わって行くのでありました。
