yu ♥ uniqlo ginza?

☆本日は銀ぶらからスタートなり。とりあえず話題の新しいユニクロに足を踏み入れてみた。結論から言うと疲れる。。。休日で人が多かっただけでなく、11階もある狭い店内に繰り返し出てくる商品にもうんざり。コンセプトショップなのは分かるがハイストリートには不向きな店舗、だいたいハイストリートがそこまでコンセプチャルである必要は無い。見ていると限定品を求める日本人と外国人が多く簡単にいうと『お土産物屋さん』だ。

☆yu's day started with exploring ginza. first stop was newly opened "uniqlo ginza". well, yu really doesn't like that stote...it is really tiring...not only busy cos yu visited in weekend but also 11 stories of small floor with never ending unsexy clothes and interval of same products. it is concept shop for them but that store style is not really suitable for high street brands. by the way does high street has to be so conceptual? nope! anyway, all japanese consumer wants is limited edition and rest are foreigners...end of the day, it's just "souvenir" shop...

yu ♥ london friends in tokyo!

☆東京苑を予約してくれたヨウコちゃんとみほちゃん。ロンドンからのお友達と東京で会うのって不思議だわ。それにしても美味かった！
☆yoko booked tokyo-en for yu and suwa-miho lives in london joined dinner. it was so nice to see friends from london in japan! anyway, that yakiniku was so good!!

☆祐天寺にある店舗が有名な『東京苑』。実は本店は大塚にある。「どうせ食うならうま肉」のフレーズどおりにうまい肉の数々がお手頃価格でサーブされた。肉質にもお値段にも大満足の焼肉エクスペリエンスなり。
☆yutenji brunch is well-known but original restaurant of yakiniku house "tokyo-en" is located in downtown of otsuka. quality meats are served at reasonable price. it was pretty good yakiniku experience!

yu ♥ yellow!

☆ドレスコードに合わせてマスイも黄色でまとめてみました。『マルニXH＆M』はさすがにロンドンでは着れず今日この日にぴったり！
☆yu also followed dress code of yellow! there wasn't chance to wear "marni x H&M" in london so this yellow number was perfect!!!

☆昨年から文化服飾学園ではじまったドレスコードの日。前回のピンクと緑に続き、今年のテーマは青とイエローでございます。学生たちは思い思いにテーマカラーをスタイリング。そして締めくくりはドレスコードコンペティションなり。実は俳優の伊勢谷友介さんやデザイナーさんたちにまじってマスイも審査員をさせていただきました。サプライズゲストの「ゲッツ」の人も登場！
☆"dress code" day started at bunka fashion college last year. last theme was "pink&green" and it is "blue&yellow" this year. students dressed up for the day and some was up for dress code styling competition. yu masui was one of jury alongside of actor yusuke ikeya and young designers. also a comedian always dressed in yellow joined this special events.

☆日本はマックでもおいしいのね。
チキンタツタのポスターに誘われて普段はあまりいかないマクドナルドに入っちゃいました。バンズは思ったとおりにブリオッシュのようにふわふわ、そしてわさび味のタルタルがなかなか美味しゅうございました。マックで満足してしまった自分にちょっぴり罪悪感。。。

yu walked in mcdonald's as its "chicken tatsuta"burger poster looked yummy and made him wanted to try...buns was as light&smooth as brioche and wasabi tartare sauce gave crispy fried chicken a kick. it was pretty good chicken burger but feeling bad as yu was satisfied with mcdonald's...

yu ♥ dumpling bagel!!

☆無事に実家に帰り浜松駅を通り抜けると売り子さんの声が。。。
「ベーグルいかがでしょうか？ベーグルいかがでしょうか？本日発売の浜松餃子。。。」
「浜松餃子?!」ベーグルに興味の無いマスイユウの耳にかすかに聞こえた『餃子』という言葉。全国チェーン『ベーグル＆ベーグル』に足を踏み入れるとそこには餃子２つをセンターに配した斬新なベーグルが!!
☆yu got back to family home in hamamatsu and one day yu was walking down station....
shop staff was selling something...'bagels! freshly baked bagels! hamamatsu gyoza dumpling...'
yu was not really listening cos he was not interested in bagels at all but yu actually heard something  bizarre... "gyoza dumpling"! yu is obsessed with those dumplings. but never imagined bagels and dumpling together...
it was national chain of bagel shop "bagel&bagel" and there was this shop only limited edition of "hamamatsu gyoza dumpling bagel"!

☆とりあえずシャワーを浴びに親父のところへ。
日本到着１つ目のアポイントメントはお呼ばれした装苑大賞なり！いわずと知れた日本のファッションコンペティションの最高峰。
才能あふれる若者たちがしのぎを削る。クリエティヴィティには関心したがトレンドやリアルさを感じなかった事に若干の戸惑いを感じた。
会場では同じく装苑ブログをやっているモデルの本山順子ちゃんと仲良くなりました。

☆yu needed shower badly...so yu headed to dad's place in tokyo.
first engagement yu attended was "so-en award". "so-en award" is the best fashion competition for emerging talents sponsored by bunka fashion college and celebrates its long history.
it was full of creativity but lack of trends and reality...somehow designer needs those sense to survive in business...
anyway, yu got to know model junko motoyama who also writes so-en blog.

☆少しばかり人生を振り返ってみま〜す！
装苑のロンドン特集の取材をなんとかおえ、辿り着いた早朝のヒースロー空港。最近は羽田に飛んでいるブリティッシュエアウェイズを愛用なり。窓から見えるのはオリンピック会場ではありませんか?!隣に誰もいなかったので３席使ってゴロンちょ。夢の世界へ。。。朝日を浴びながら飛行機は羽田に到着。只今朝の５時なり！
☆well, yu is looking back life for a couple of weeks...
somehow yu got to heathrow airport after  sorting out all materials for "so-en"london feature. recently yu's been taking british airways flights as they fly to haneda airport. it is much easier access to central tokyo. after flew over olympic site, it was time for bed. luckily yu managed to use all 3 seats in row as no one beside. finally, airplane arrived to haneda in morning glory...it was 5am!

☆マスイユウがブログにカムバックですございます！
って、やっとこさ１月の台湾旅行を書き上げました。空前のロンドンブームという事もありフリーランスになってから、忙しさにかまけてすっかり手薄になってしまったブログ（装苑ブログも）。家での仕事は昼夜をひっくり返しすっかり出不精に。。。もちろん忙しい事はフリーランスの身にはありがたい事なのですが。。。
ぐちゃぐちゃになった生活習慣だけでなく人生を修正するためにも真剣にリスタートなり。気分を変えるために髪も切っちゃいました。１月のメンズ＆クチュール、２月のロンドンコレに３月のパリコレとすばらしいショーの数々や過去数ヶ月に食した美味をぶっちぎり。。。ネタがもったいない（涙）

☆ yu masui would like to announce yu is back to his "yu ♥..." blog!!!
yu's life has been pretty messed up since becoming freelance. been really busy and that is amazing for freelance. but yu has to stay at home more and day'n'night has been mixed up cos of time difference. it's nature of working with japanese publications from london. 
however yu thinks it is time to adjust and sort out life style and life itself. yu believes restarting blog properly will help. oh, got hair cut done too!!
anyway, just sorted out taiwan trip which was in january and had been stopped for a month or longer...unfortunately yu has to skip great experience at all fashion weeks like paris mens, haute couture, london and paris women's...also amazing food yu had in last a few months...so sad...so many things yu wants to talk about...
anyway, here yu go♥
